Why Conflux

Most configuration management tools assume you’re running a fleet of hundreds of machines and want a control plane to match. Conflux is built for the other case: a handful of VPS boxes, home servers, or lab machines where you still want reproducible, version-controlled configuration — without running Puppet masters or Ansible Tower for three hosts.

• Agentless — ships as a single static binary, connects over SSH, nothing to install on target hosts.
• Idempotent by design — every module reports what it changed and skips work already done.
• Diff before apply — conflux plan shows exactly what would change before anything touches the host.
